The Priory Hospital North London is recruiting for a number of highly experienced sessional Clinical Supervisors to support a diverse group of therapists within four different teams, this role is for an Addiction Treatment Clinical Supervisor.

As an Addiction Treatment Programme Clinical Supervisor you will have knowledge and experience of 12 Step, abstinence based rehabilitation models of treatment. This will have been gained either through training, your work history or by personal experience. 

You will be a qualified psychological therapist with a UK registration / accreditation and you will have a recognised qualification in clinical supervision. 

The addiction treatment programme (ATP) team are a mix of specialist trained / accredited FDAP addiction therapists (Federation of Drug and Alcohol Practitioners) and generalist trained BACP addiction therapists. Generalist trained clinicians will have also undertaken specialist post qualifying training or CPD and have significant addiction treatment experience.

The ATP team provide inpatients with Group Therapy, one to one therapy, 12 Step groups, DBT groups, relapse prevention, family conjoints and partner sessions. The team also offer a Family Support Group, 12 month outpatient Aftercare Group and associated therapeutic interventions such as mindfulness, developmental lectures and trauma informed interventions. 

The patient presentation can be complex and often accompanied with co-morbid factors or dual diagnosis. The team work within an MDT including referring Consultant Psychiatrists. The successful candidate will have knowledge of this type of work and MDT structures.

You will also be able to demonstrate significant self reflection and role modelling along with a history of supporting therapists and groups of professionals within an inpatient setting.
