About me and my practice

I have done my PG Cert in Addiction Psychology and Counselling at London South Bank University. I obtained my BA degree in clinical psychology in 2005. Besides, I have undertaken courses in NLP, TA and Mindfulness. I have done some online courses like CBT with older people, UEA (University of East Anglia), Mindfulness for wellbeing and peak performance at Monash university and Understanding Anxiety, Depression and CBT, at the University of Reading also Psychological first aid RAPID model offered by Johns Hopkins University.

Outline of offer:

I use the principles of Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), Dialectical behaviour therapy DBT and CBT as my integrative approach to help individuals, reducing the symptoms of various mental health conditions, primarily PTSD, Trauma, depression and anxiety disorders also substance use disorder (SUD).


I work at Inspire Partnership, a community drug and alcohol service, and Afghan Association Paiwand, a community organisation dedicated to helping refugees and asylum seekers in the UK as a counsellor.
