Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT).

We believe that the individuals and families who use our services should receive high quality, committed and inclusive services realising all the benefits a modern national NHS organisation can bring. To do this, we need a well trained and supported workforce and place significant investment in training and development opportunities. We have market-leading opportunities and terms and conditions.

We are proud to have dedicated, passionate and professional staff across our services. We employ a broad spectrum of roles to ensure we meet the needs of those we work with. This includes Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Allied Health Professionals, Psycho-social Workers, Peer Mentors and Volunteers.

There has never been a better time to join Inclusion (and the Trust); take a look at our Benefits Leaflet to see what else we can offer you.

The Trust works in partnership with the NHS programme ‘Step into Health’, supporting ex-service personnel into a career in the NHS.

PLEASE NOTE: From 1st April 2022 all NHS workers in England with face to face contact with patients or who work in a clinical area may be required to be fully (currently this is limited to first and second vaccinations) vaccinated against Covid-19. Only those with medical exemptions will be excluded from this requirement. Please consider this when applying for this position.

Inclusion NHS have recently completed the successful launch of our alcohol and drug detoxification unit in Fareham, Hampshire in partnership with Two Saints House Association. We are looking for a GPSI (RCGP Level 2 Substance Misuse) or Specialist Doctor input 5 to 10 sessions per week to support this exciting new project.

The unit will be providing Medically Managed Detoxification and will include an experienced multi-disciplinary team including, GPSI, Consultant Psychiatrist, NMP and 24/7 nursing cover, working with clients that have significant health complications and are unable to detox in the community. Based in Kings Road, Fareham, the unit has 9 en-suite bedrooms including a ground floor disabled room, clinical room and garden.

The unit has recently been commissioned through Hampshire County Council who are representing a coalition of 20 Public Health Teams across the South Coast. Demand for Medically Managed detox currently far outstrips supply with the nearest available unit being in Maidstone, Kent. As such the unit will provide an essential contribution to the local healthcare system and will reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.

For an informal conversation please contact our Medical Lead Georges Petitjean at [email protected]

PLEASE NOTE: should we have a high volume of applications the Trust may close the vacancy early.
