About me and my practice

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, providing a safe, supportive and professional environment for people to explore their difficulties and ultimately make positive changes in their lives. ​ I am an integrative practitioner, drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches, which enables me to effectively meet the individual needs of the clients I work with. I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues, and have a specialist interest in eating disorders and all forms of addiction, including substance abuse as well as process addictions such as gambling, pornography, sex, work, gaming etc.

Outline of offer and experience

I work with clients, on both a short and long term basis, in a safe and comfortable private practice setting in Weybridge or by telephone / online using Skype or Zoom during the current pandemic, if face to face work is not possible. Alongside my private practice, I am the Eating Disorder Lead at a private addiction and eating disorder treatment centre in Surrey, where I help to deliver a comprehensive treatment programme, working with individuals, groups and family members. I have previous experience in both private and community based settings, working with individuals who are struggling with addiction and other issues, as well as with family members, who also often need support. As well as my work in this field, I am also able to draw on my considerable experience working as a commercial professional, during which time I held a variety of senior management roles, working with and leading teams of people to achieve change and growth targets in industry.

There is a car park directly opposite the counselling practice which is free after 6pm and 90p an hour beforehand.

I also work online using Skype or Zoom, as well as offering telephone sessions.
