Gavin works as an independent Psychotherapist having been trained as an Integrative practitioner, utilising a wide range of psychological disciplines. He is passionate about helping people find recovery from a wide range of addictions and has a reliable track record with the warmth, skill and experience he brings to his work. Having supported individuals, groups and family members in over 20 years of professional practice, he is highly regarded in the field of addiction recovery by his peers and those whom he has worked with. Being trained and qualified in EMDR, he is able to treat those who have experienced trauma in their lives and works with the individual to develop a bespoke treatment plan to meet their needs.

Gavin specialises in treating trauma alongside his work in addictions and is a qualified EMDR practitioner. . He has worked for several of the UKs leading addiction treatment centres having managed and developed treatment programmes for those experiencing addiction. He has set up Family Programmes, giving critical support and information to families blighted by addiction. He was a pioneer in establishing Brightons first non-nhs residential detox project in the City which continues to run successfully.
