About me and my practice

A recognised expert in the addiction field, Peter holds a National Counsellor Accreditation Certificate (NCAC) from The Addiction Professionals, a Diploma in Addiction Therapy. In the past Peter worked as a therapist and team leader within a nationally renowned addiction treatment centre in the South East. His skills include 1-1 client work, group therapy, family work, delivery of workshops and lectures.

Outline of offer and experience

Previously Peter worked within medium-sized businesses for over 25 years, which has given him invaluable experience within the fast-moving commercial world. His life changed significantly early in 2002, when rehab halted his descent into alcohol and drug addiction. He’s never looked back. Now a well-known and respected therapist, Peter’s personal experience and journey into recovery have given him a unique understanding of – and empathy with – others suffering in addiction. Driven by his commitment to helping others, Peter believes everyone deserves the chance to achieve a healthy, fulfilling and meaningful life. This philosophy underpins Addiction Care, which he founded. With its non-judgmental, warm and supportive approach, Addiction Care has given many people and their families new hope and a new start.
