News Gamble Aware Are you interested in developing the strategy for treating problem gambling in Scotland? GambleAware is the leading charity which commissions research, education and treatment aimed at reducing gambling-related harms across Great Britain. The charity is setting up a Scottish Advisory Panel to advise its trustees on setting priorities for the charity’s activities in Scotland, and would welcome membership of one or more Scotland-based GPs or other health professionals. The Panel will meet 3 times a year to review existing activity in Scotland, suggest new activity, provide feedback on and input to decisions affecting its work in Scotland. The panel will also review: needs assessments; treatment provision, volume and quality; and the effectiveness of awareness and preventative behaviour change campaigns.
